By email
The best way to reach me is by email:

What you can write to me about
Corrections. If you think I've gotten something wrong in an article, I want to know. I will read every correction email, verify the claim, and update the article if you're right. Published corrections will be noted at the bottom of the relevant article.
Research requests. If there's a topic you'd like me to look into, tell me. I won't get to everything, but I do pay attention to what readers ask about.
Sharing your own experience. If you've found something helpful that relates to an article of mine, I'd like to hear it. I may or may not incorporate your experience into future writing — if I do, I'll ask you first.
Affiliate / editorial questions. If you want to understand how I make decisions about what to recommend, or you're curious about a specific product I've discussed, please ask.
What I cannot help with
I cannot give personal medical advice over email. I was a nurse for 34 years, but I am not currently a practicing medical professional, and I cannot responsibly make clinical judgments about your specific situation without knowing your full history. Please take medical questions to your doctor.
I cannot recommend specific supplements for your specific condition. I can point you to my published research on general topics. I cannot tell you what to take.
I cannot guarantee a response. I read every email. I do not answer every email. If you email about a topic I've already covered in an article, I will probably just respond with a link to that article.
Response time
Email is the only way to reach me directly. I try to read my email at least twice a week. Responses typically come within 7-10 days. If your message is time-sensitive — for example, a factual correction to a published article — please put "CORRECTION" in the subject line and I'll prioritize it.
